We have a wealth of experience gained building and running sites for over 100 clients, many of whom we are now pleased to count amongst our best friends. Unlike the majority of other web design agencies we specialise in the entertainment industry so can bring our expertise, knowledge and contacts to bear to help you achieve your objectives.

We always focus on developing something unique to you ensuring the site reflects the personality of you and/or your business. We don't work with templates as they don't help you stand out from the crowd, which is one of the key objectives of any website.

Helen Lockstone...

established Actually Actors in 1999 whilst working as the Head of UK Internet Development for a US Bank. With a passion for live theatre, Helen saw the opportunities that the net could bring to the performing arts. Putting her business expertise into action she began developing official sites for several high profile West End performers leading to her leaving high finance to run the business as a full time venture in 2001.

Helen handles our business development, design and client services.

 

Anthony Fawkes...

is a technology professional who has spent the last 10 years of his career managing information databases, direct marketing and developing software for major blue chip names.

Anthony is in charge of our hosting service, backend databases and scripting functionality in addition to managing his own technology services business.

 

 

Our Philosophy

What we will do....

..build sites that work properly and efficiently taking into consideration the wide variety of hardware, software and connection speeds (believe it or not there are still people out there without a broadband connection) being used by your target audience

..make sure your visitors have the latest news and information about you - that's why all our acting site design costs include maintaining and updating the site for the first twelve months. We can even proactively prompt you for site updates if that's what you'd like.

 

What we won't do...

..bamboozle you with techno-babble. That's why you will find very little on this site about the languages we can programme in or very specific technical elements we can provide. You can get an overview via the sample packages on the costs page but we would love to talk to you in plain English about what you need and then help find the best, most cost effective way to deliver it.

..launch a site and then walk away (unless of course you want us to). Websites need careful nurturing to get the best out of them and unlike some agencies we are just as interested in helping maintain your site on an ongoing basis as we are in designing it.
