Alexander is a graduate of music from Southampton University. Whilst studying he trained with Angela Caine at the voice workshop and since has continued to teach her VOICEGYM and studied Double Bass with Duncan McTier.

Prior to University he was a member of the National Youth Music Theatre, and performed in productions of Oliver! Whistle Down the Wind and Noye's Fludde, was a soloist at their Royal Charity Gala at St James's Palace.

Some of Alexander's stage appearances since have included:

ChessAn extraordinary new staging of the classic musical CHESS, written by Tim Rice and ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson.

Directed by Craig Revel Horwood and touring the UK in 2010/2011.

SunsetThe role of Sheldrake in Andrew Lloyd Webbers, Sunset Boulevard for the Watermill Theatre / West End at the Comedy Theatre.

Under the direction of Craig Revel Horwood and Sarah Travis.

Honk

Greylag and Turkey in Stiles and Drewe's musical Honk! at the Watermill theatre.

Eddie Yeager in Do I Hear A Waltz? a critically acclaimed revival of Stephen Sondheim / Richard Rodgers musical at the Landor.

Queen MaryHe performed on the QM2 on its maiden and inaugural season. This took him across three continents with gala performances in Southampton, Florida and New York.

On the operatic stage he has performed a variety of Tenor roles on tour here in UK and Holland.

In concert and cabaret Alexander was a guest Tenor for Spirit of the Dance in two of its UK tours. He has also sung in Royal Charity Galas and performed at the Oliviers, along with guest appearances in a variety of reviews, and Christmas seasons at Thursford.

Opera On The RunFor OPERA ON THE RUN he has sung in the UK, Europe and Asia and by appointment to the Duchess of York.
