He's Having A Baby

Debbie and Jason Pennycooke participated in this unique new series for BBC ONE and BBC THREE.

Davina McCall presented He's Having a Baby – following eight young men (one of whom was Jason) on their very different journeys to becoming first time dads, all struggling to cope with the dramatic, funny and difficult changes parenthood brings. But they do have one other thing in common – the due dates of their children were staggered throughout the run of the show.

Over eight weeks from late August 2005, He's Having a Baby captured the lives of these men. The dads-to-be were put through a series of 'Dad Assignments' which will gave them first hand experience of just what lay ahead.

Each Saturday evening on BBC ONE, Davina McCall caught with the men and their partners live in studio to bring us their unique and compelling stories from the last week.

Throughout the week a nightly BBC THREE programme captured their daily lives in a real life soap opera.

He's Having a Baby was a Hat Trick production for BBC ONE and BBC THREE.

Debbie and Jason's daughter Saffron was born at the end of the series.
