Debbie sang the role of Fantine in a concert performance of Les Miserables on 5th & 6th September in Guernsey and appeared in An Evening on the West Side: Celebrating the music of Leonard Bernstein at the Jersey Opera House
In August Debbie performed in cabaret at the Sunset Cabaret Lounge at the The Water Rats in Kings Cross. See a video of Debbie singing "Take Me or Leave Me" from Rent with her sister Helen.
In May 2008 Debbie appeared as part of the Chess In Concert Company for two nights at the Royal Albert Hall alongside an all-star cast including Josh Groban, Idina Menzel,Adam Pascal, Marti Pellow, David Bedella, Clarke Peters and Kerry Ellis.

She also appeared at the Whatsonstage.com Year on Year Concert, which was held on Sunday 24 February 2008 and starred in Christmas in New York, both at the Lyric Theatre.
Debbie has spent the last two months in Los Angeles and whilst there appeared in a short film called Beauty - the final cut of which is due in January 2009.
