Notes from New York

Notes from New York, the West End's first and only platform for contemporary US musical theatre, was a sold out series of shows which regularly received a very enthusiastic response from the packed house and the industry.

Debbie with Al Larson

Staged in an intimate cabaret setting, the shows featured a number of UK and European premieres of songs by Jonathan Larson and William Finn in addition to rarely performed material from Finn's extensive back catalogue and the much-lauded repertoire of Jason Robert Brown.

Debbie appeared twice in the series. Firstly she was reunited with her Fame co-stars Paul Spicer and Julie Atherton and her Hot Stuff co-star Craig Purnell at the Donmar Warehouse on Sunday 7th March 2004.

Debbie also appeared in the first anniversary gala at the Trafalagar Studios on Sunday 21st November 2004alongside amongst others Amy Nuttall, Jon Lee, Ashleigh Gray, Oliver Tompsett, Shona Lindsay and Damien Edwards.
