STOP PRESS - Kaisa can currently be seen as Petra in the Menier Chocolate Factory's production of Sondheim's A Little Night Music. Directed by Trevor Nunn, Others involved include: Hannah Waddingham, Maureen Lipman, Alexander Hanson, Gabriel Vick and Kelly Price.. Booking information. Kaisa appeared in "They're playing our song" at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 25th July to 28th September. Playing one of the "inner voices" and covering Connie Fisher as Sonia. Others involved are: Alistair McGowan,Matthew Cole,Christopher Ragland,Eugene McCoy,Lyndsey Gardiner,Tricia Adele Turner. Directed by Fiona Laird, Choreographer: Sam Spencer Lane, MD: Torquil Munro. Earlier this year Kaisa appeared as Leah in the world-premiere of "Black and White Ball" , a new musical featuring the songs of Cole Porter at The Kings Head Theatre. The show also featured Mark McGee and Liza Pullman and is directed by Matthew White and was involved in a new musical workshop at the Really Useful Group. It's called Up The Junction and is written by Lise Mayer,Chris Difford and Glenn Tillbrook. Director Ed Hall and MD Kevin Amos. She took part in a workshop of Grim the musical. A grim fairytale gone wrong in a modern day setting on a council estate up north with Kaisa playing Ella, the stepsister of Cindy. Written by Will Hammond and Julian Ronnie.Directed by Guy Retallack and Musical Director Chris Newton. Prior to that she appeared in Take Flight by award winning composers Maltby and Shire, with book by John Weidman at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Kaisa appears on the Original Cast Recording being released by PS Classics. Now available at Dress Circle she appeared in "African Gothic"by Reza de Wet at The White Bear in Kennington playing one of the lead characters, "Sussie". SITPWG swept the board winning 5 awards including Outstanding Musical Production with Cabaret picking up two including Best Theatre Choreographer. Kaisa completed a successful run as a Kit Kat Girl and as 1st Cover Sally Bowles in Cabaret at the Lyric Theatre in London's West End alongside Anna Maxwell Martin, James Dreyfus and Sheila Hancock. The show is directed by Rufus Norris. The Cabaret cast recording on which Kaisa appears is now available to buy from Dress Circle. Kaisa was involved in a three week workshop of the forthcoming musical production of Desperately Seeking Susan. The show conceived by Peter Michael Marino, features the music of Blondie and is directed by Angus Jackson with Musical Direction by Martin Lowe. The workshop also featured Emma Williams, Kelly Price, Clive Rowe, Jon Partridge, Neil McDermott, Simon Lipkin, Sarah Ingram and many more.
