Matthew has just completed a short run in "To The Green Fields Beyond" where he played Kirkpatrick, an American journalist visiting a tank crew in the First World War.  The play was directed by up and coming director Sam Hanna.  Matthew is about to film "The Writer" directed by Isabelle Livingstone and plays the title character

2008 has been a busy year for Matthew who has completed filming for Transport for London, The Disney Channels “Life Bites and Panorama. Matthew has also been involved in a rehearsed reading of a new play at The Arts Theatre called "Two Steps Forward" where he played an inmate on death row in Afghanistan.

Matthew has also been filming several short films as well as doing voice over work for The Wireless Theatre Company. For the acclaimed documentary director Antony Thomas on his last three documentaries, all of which have appeared on Channel 4.  Matthew has also recently appeared as Joseph Beuys at The Tate Museum in a reconstruction of an interview he gave the 1960’s.

On Stage
Matthew has appeared on stage at TheOld Vic, The Royal Court, The Almeida and Southwark Playhouse amongst others. He has played a wide variety of roles from Slim in Of Mice and Men to Scanlon in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, to Brassett the Butler in "Charley's Aunt".

On Screen
Matthew has recently finished filming for "Life Bites" on the Disney Channel and for Panorama on the BBC. He has also appeared in many short films in the last three years playing characters as diverse as a god, a police officer, a stalker and a criminal.
