RAW TALENT WORKSHOPS are designed to refine the actors’ mastery of character development, vocal and physical commitment to dramatic material, emotional truth in imaginary circumstances, cold reading and audition technique.

Our mission is to maintain a productive learning and creative environment which will encourage and challenge the actors in an atmosphere of mutual trust.

In conjunction with the proposed opening of an Equity branch in Edinburgh (subject to member interest), Helen is currently writing a business proposal that will hopefully see the launch of ‘The Actors Centre, Scotland’.
Helen hopes that the Centre will open up training and career opportunities to professional* actors both within the UK and overseas, with links to training providers and casting professionals in the USA and the rest of Europe.
So far, Helen’s initial proposals have been welcomed by fellow actors and recognised actor training establishments in London and Scotland but will only come to fruition with industry support. Helen cannot do this alone and urges you to make contact with her directly with your input and ideas.
* the Centre could be opened up to non-professional actors in conjunction with the SCDA and NODA if Helen's proposals gain their support.
