Based on the novel Aspects of Love written by David Garnett, Aspects of love is a intricate story about love and sex between five people: a young soldier (Alex), his uncle (George), an elder woman (Rose), a young mistress (Guilietta) and a teenage girl (Jenny).

The trials and tribulations of love are explored when Alex falls in love with Rose. His uncle George in turn falls in love with her, marries her, and they have a daughter called Jenny. Rose then falls in love with her husband's mistress Guilietta. Jenny falls in love with the Alex. Finally, Alex falls in love with the Guilietta.
