CHILDREN OF EDEN

Steven landed his first professional West End job in this new musical by Stephen Schwartz at the age of nineteen.

The show opened at the Prince Edward Theatre on 8 January 1991, was directed by John Caird (who also wrote the book) and was choreographed by the now legendary Matthew Bourne.

Children of Eden is a musical based on the first nine chapters of the book of Genesis, from Adam & Eve to Noah & the Flood. The first act focusses on the story of Adam and Eve. The second act on the story of Noah and the Ark.
