Sophie was born and raised in Cambridge and lived there until she left to train at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2003. During her training, she was awarded the Peter Akerman award for Comedy in 2005, and she then went on to be nominated for the Spotlight Prize later that year.

Sophie now lives in North London and since graduating, she has enjoyed a variety of work in Television, Radio, Film, Theatre, Commercials and Voice Over. She has also just recorded her first song ‘Who Am I?’ for the forthcoming album ‘10 Unknown’

Sophie is currently rehearsing for the role of Portia in Big Bruvva the Musical directed by Stewart Nicholls.

Performances will be from Thursday 24 - Saturday 26 July at 8pm and 27 July at 4pm at Upstairs at the Gatehouse followed by daily peformances at Venue 37 in George Square at the Edinburgh Festival from 5 - 25 August.
